At the heart of humanity’s quest to the stars is discovery and hope. Docked at the Ceres Shipyards just outside the asteroid belt, the Earth Space Command’s newest and finest interstellar colony starship, the ESC Vanguard, is poised on its maiden voyage — the first ever launch to another star system. Most of Earth and her three colonies (Luna, Mars, and Europa) are celebrating the launch, but some factions have other plans. Will our best and brightest, Dr. Peter Spencer, inventor of the Quantum Vortex Drive (the QVD), Dr. Julia McNeil, a key member of the launch team, and brave Captain Robert Yates, successfully embark on their mission?
